Faisal Janjua and Paul Johnson, both experienced pharmaceutical executives founded HFA Healthcare in July 2009 after securing the UK rights to Manevac, a widely prescribed constipation brand.

HFA Healthcare has adopted a novel totally virtual infrastructure to house its brands which following a formal audit by the UK MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency) in June 2009 was formally approved and a licence to operate as a pharmaceutical company granted.
